About FGO

Florida Golf Outreach is a God-centered organization that emphasizes using the game of golf to connect with people of all ages, race, and backgrounds; guiding golfers, whether individuals, coaches, couples, or families, to a personal relationship with Jesus and by helping to thrust others to a new level of one's walk with God, through our Junior Golf Camps and other Outreach Events.

 

ABOUT OUR LEADERS

FGO was founded in 2006 and is led by Executive Director, Mark Perry. Mr. Perry is not new to the "Junior Golf" arena...He got his start as a golf camp clinician by attending camp with his oldest son back in the summer of 1998 in Houston, Texas. Since then, Mr. Perry has led and helped with numerous FCA camps, both as Director and Clinician, in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Florida. Mr. Perry is the father of 7 children, grandfather of 2, and currently lives in Maryland with his wife and children.
dan The newest member of our staff is Dan Paetz, serving as Director of Outreach and Special Events. Dan is quite gifted in marketing and development, and has a true servant's heart. God is all about relationship building and we believe it is no accident that He placed Dan in our path at the 2011 Arnold Palmer Invitational to help take Florida Golf Outreach to the next level... Welcome Dan!
dan Florida Golf Outreach is pleased to have Brad Baker on our staff as State Director and assisting with FGO Camp activities. Mr. Baker has coached golf at the Master's Academy and lives in the Orlando area. He has a passion for God, youth, and golf...these combined will prove to be a driving force and incredible asset to FGO and to the campers.

We are in the process of building a team of very knowledgeable and gifted leaders in the golfing industry, business, and Christian venues, to establish an organization of excellence, accountability, and stability. In doing so, we wish to create a cooperative effort that will focus on the many areas of outreach and need that lie with moving FGO forward; whether Biblical, spiritual, business related, or financial, so they can be met effectively through the resources available to us as God reveals His purpose for this ministry.
